Theodora's Past Life

  - As a child, she became a common actress of low comedies because of her mother's advice after her father's death.

  -  She was intelligent and strong - willed.

   - Began her life as  lower class of the Byzantine community and then rose to the higher class by winning Justinian's love.

   - Her other job besides acting was wool spinning.

   - Accused of scandals and poor girls for homes.

  - Her father, Acacius,  worked as a bear keeper at the Hippodrome.

   - Procopius quoted her, "She was extremely clever and had a biting wit."

   - Her mother was a dancer and an actress.

   - She became a very popular actress but was also vile to what she did in the show business and acted  inappropriate.

    - Theodora was the middle child of her two sister, Comitona and Anastasia.

    - When she was 16, she traveled with one of her lovers named Hecebolus while he became governor.
